Ingredients:
Place the brisket in a crock pot or heavy stovetop roasting pot, cover with water (some people like to use beer instead), and simmer on medium heat for4 to 5 hours. Add potatoes, onions, garlic, and carrots, and return to a simmer for 1 hour (you may need to add more hot water to cover the veggies). Add cabbage wedges and return to a simmer for another 30 minutes. Enjoy!
